HIS NAME IS KAYLUB GIAMANCO. THE DAD WHO STOPPED THE OREGON SCHOOL GUNMAN. The 36 year old carpenter and dad of two was driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, the school his daughters attend. He followed the gunman into the special education classroom and stopped him. Authorities say Kaylub's actions prevented even more deaths. But his brother says Kaylub doesn’t see himself as a hero. Three children and a teacher were kiIIed. Another child and a teacher were critically injured. A 7 year old in a wheelchair was shot in the face and is currently fighting for his life in the hospital. Kaylub wasn’t looking for recognition.
