After more than three decades optimizing data models at scale—from cutting my teeth on database tech at NCR, to helping Amazon migrate thousands of workloads from RDBMS to DynamoDB, running the NoSQL Blackbelt team at AWS, and evangelizing document databases at MongoDB—its going to be hard for some people to believe, but I'm joining @OracleDatabase and here is why: I've spent my career proving that when you understand your access patterns, document models crush traditional RDBMS for OLTP at scale. I've helped hundreds of teams escape join hell and ORM nightmares by modeling their data the way their applications actually use it. Oracle 26ai's JSON Relational Duality not only validates that work, it transcends it. Same normalized data. Access it as documents when your app needs hierarchical objects. Query it relationally when you need set operations. Native lock-free concurrency. No dual writes. No sync issues. No choosing. The relational vs document debate has always missed the point: it's about access patterns, not ideology. Oracle 26ai delivers both paradigms in one unified model. The future isn't picking sides—it's using both, correctly. Let's build. @OracleDatabase
