I think my time on twitter is coming to an end. Some of the things people say on here now, it seems like it’s been said just to interact with others. Not even on a holier than thou vibe but some things I read and I’m like why is this a discussion.

Why do people think this will happen before Werro or Keely?

When you get the right combination of aerobic conditioning and base 400m speed you get the fastest 800m runners. Bol will be the first woman to run 1.52 for 800m. She has the psychology for it - many 400m runners can't hack the increase of training and amount of hard longer intervals. The only danger for Bol is injury.

Steve Cram I apologise. I know you would’ve been much more hype on commentary watching a WR.

Still can’t believe this is their reaction commenting on a world record. 😂 move them man. The sport needs excitement and tears again.

I am puzzled as to what has accounted for this transformation. We know that Tobi is genuinely fast in terms of flat speed but Masai showed none of that during those Grand Slam races minus the hurdles.

I think people have to ask if they operate with love first. Because many people do NOT. You’ve got no business trying to date if your default in terms of how you show up for people isn’t rooted in love, care, mutual support and respect. These are politics and skills to build.

This is exactly what World Athletics should be doing.
Jonathan Gault (@jgault13) profile pictureJonathan Gault@jgault13Aug 24
World Athletics is going against its own qualification procedures for the Ultimate Champs by inviting both Kerr and Ingebrigtsen in the 1500m, but it’s the right call. It would have been a great shame if both men wanted to race in Budapest and they couldn’t go head to head.
