Another button. Another thing to keep track of. As if managing your crypto portfolio isn't enough already. That's the interesting part of @NUVAFinance's NUVA HOME feature; you don't have to manually claim your yield. When you deposit USDC into the vault, you receive nvHOME tokens. As income accrues to the vault, it's reflected in the value of those tokens. No separate claiming routine to remember and one less thing competing for your attention. But what makes NUVA HOME more interesting to me is what's behind the vault. It gives onchain exposure to a managed portfolio of US residential housing loans, starting with a minimum deposit of just 1 USDC. The vault has a 7.0% target policy rate, set monthly, alongside a first-loss buffer seeded by NUVA and targeted at 5% of the vault cap. That buffer is designed to absorb certain losses before they reach holders, but it doesn't eliminate investment risk. And before anyone gets carried away, the initial vault cap is $12M. The target rate isn't a promise of returns, and holders don't own the underlying loans or houses. What I like about this approach is that it brings real-world credit onchain without making yield claiming another chore. Sometimes, the interesting part of a product isn't just what it offers, it's how it removes an unnecessary step from the experience. Happy Taco Tuesday, folks! 🌮 To you founders, 🧵 I came across a project on the TL, went through their profile, and noticed they were building something strong. But you know what many projects overlook? The visual aspect of their branding. Visuals play a huge role in how people perceive your project and can give you an edge over competitors. So, I went ahead and pitched my design services to this prediction market project, @TTTMarkets . We discussed the pricing and reached an agreement. But before proceeding, he asked me to create a design so he could see how it would turn out. He sent over the write-up and brand assets, and I got to work. After completing the design, we made a few adjustments, and he complimented me on the work. He then asked about my years of experience, and we had a brief discussion before he said he would speak with his team. He asked me to give him a couple of days. A few days later, I followed up, and he told me they had noticed their current design was clearer and cheaper. But here’s where things get interesting. The guy took my design, fed it into AI, and used it to rework the concept. Imagine putting your time, creativity, and effort into a project, only to have your work used this way without proceeding with the agreed deal. This is exactly why designers are becoming more cautious about doing unpaid sample work. @TTTMarkets , this isn’t cool. You can do better.
