I had such a fun week seeing great bands, but this year felt like the end of something at SXSW. Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like if this doesn’t shift more to an artist-centric model and sponsorship that make a semblance of sense, this year was a wake and not a celebration.

I want to give space for SXSW to find its footing and become again what it was not even a decade ago, but if course doesn’t change, I’m out. That said, looking forward to sharing words and pics of some amazing artists I saw this week. It was a joy!
