You built the app. Let us handle the servers.
Meet Openstead: deploy apps and APIs from GitHub, add managed databases, and bring your own domain.
What’s the most frustrating part of getting your project live?

Match the service to the workload: on Openstead, use a web service for an API, a background worker for a queue consumer, and a cron job for scheduled commands. Deployment guide: docs.openstead.tech/getting-…
Security update: PHP2Shell and Node.js CVE-2026-111497 fixes are deployed on Openstead’s managed stack.
Using a custom Dockerfile or pinned image? Update, rebuild, redeploy, and verify your runtime.

You can now discover homegrown alternatives to the software you're already using on AIB! 🇳🇬❤️
Whether you're using Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Google Analytics, or other global products, you can search for African-built alternatives and explore what they're offering.
For example, searching for Vercel currently brings up @pxxl_space, @brimblehq, Aeroplane by @akinkunmi, @dbrij_hq, @Openstead, and @helicarrierhq.
You don't have to stop using international products, but I think it's worth knowing what people in our ecosystem are building and giving them a try.

If you're a Nigerian developer, whether you're just starting out or you've been building for years, there's so much you can build and learn with homegrown technologies 🇳🇬❤️
We have:
🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @pxxl_space instead of Vercel for hosting.
🇳🇬 @StackshiftCloud for VPS hosting and management, as an alternative to providers like Hostinger and tools like Coolify.
🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @sendly_ai_ instead of Resend for business and transactional emails.
🇳🇬 @cencori instead of OpenRouter and Cloudflare AI Gateway for AI model access and management.
🇳🇬 Sabilytics.com instead of Google Analytics and DataFast for website analytics.
🇳🇬 @OutRayTunnel for tunnelling local services, as an alternative to tools like ngrok and Cloudflare Tunnel.
🇳🇬 @Bachs_hq for international payments, as an alternative to Stripe.
And these are just the ones I can remember right now!
I'm not saying you must stop using international tools.
I'm saying we have people right here building alternatives worth trying, supporting, and contributing to. With better local pricing that fits us.
I know I'm missing so many other products.
What other Nigerian-built products and their global alternatives should be on this list?
Drop them in the replies! 👇
And if you're building something in Nigeria or anywhere across Africa, please submit your project to Africa Is Building so more people can discover what you're working on ❤️
