This is appalling. Someone needs to step in soon to stop the IPL's seemingly unstoppable march to control world cricket. This cannot be good for anyone.
Delhi Capitals agree £120m deal to buy Hampshire in historic move for English cricket. Full story @TelegraphSport. GMR Group’s interest first revealed by @willis_macp telegraph.co.uk/cricket/2024…
Gus Atkinson eh?
Remarkably, his 7/45 figures today are only the 4th best by a Test debutant at Lord's!
Bob Massie incredibly bagged two 8-fors on debut for Australia v England in 1972, and Dominic Cork got 7/43 also against the Windies in 1994.

Gus's display is the second best by an Englishman on debut (after Cork)
It is the best display by an Englishman in his first INNINGS of Test Cricket though. (Cork's 7-43 was in his second innings of the match). He beats John Lever's 7-46 against India in Delhi in 1976.

Super 8 levels of trolling here! Bravo! ##T20WorldCup

Fabulous achievement by @usacricket and a big incentive for @CricketBermuda over the next qualification cycle. Came within a whisker of qualifying for this World Cup. Let's go one better next time boys!

Incredible work from @CricketBermuda, @KLeverock_22 & @delraw09 who hosted @TODAYshow's @hodakotb & @JennaBushHager for intro to cricket demo. Extraordinary that USA is hosting the T20 WC in NY, where Today Show is based, and yet no segment was done there. today.com/video/see-hoda-jen…
Was really looking forward to seeing NZ take on Australia. Just checked the NZ team and now checking out. No justification for picking him and I will not cheer them on with him in the side. End of. #NZvAUS
What on earth is this? No-one presents bowling figures in this order? It's OMRW surely?
Not as bad as the whole Australian backwards wickets/runs debacle, but man that look odd.
Losing 5 wickets for 10 runs...impressive but it's no 6 for 0 is it?
India on top again!

David Willey retires from international cricket more valuable than ever.
Since 2020 averages 32 with the bat in ODIs and 48 wickets at 22 with the ball. One of England’s best players this World Cup too
