We are glad to find out the Minneapolis City Council passed funding for the 2024 Open Streets program.
Unfortunately, because the council relied on misinformation from the Public Works Department, the funding amount falls well short of the actual cost for hosting the events.
City Council just passed the budget amendment by myself and @jeremiah4north to restore funding for @OpenStreetsMPLS! Thank you to everyone who took action to make it clear that this cherished community tradition must continue.
