This doesn't make sense. Even if 0.5% of MAU paid (which seems high) $8/mo * 238M * 0.005 = $9.5M/mo = $114M/y Pretty sure the quarterlies showed that server costs are more than that. :/ Instead: Partner with @lexfridman & @joerogan &turn on a "competitive Twitter eSport"👇

Jack tried this with Bluesky (I was recruited into the community in late 2019 by then CTO) But he dragged it out for 3 years Then guess what happened? The company for the "open" protocol went centralized, and is mostly stealth / behind closed doors. xitter.cf/marknadal/status/15026…
Why I'm leaving bluesky: For 2 years, it was an initiative to be open/transparent. Now no longer.😢 My protocol was one of the 1st recruited to the community & I helped build the brand. I have to keep true to my promises: healthy *public* conversations. marknadal.com/2022/3/11/blue…

Touch devices should use video game style controls. Here's a demo I recorded. Before, I had the inventory menu always be bottom/right. But if it follows the crosshair, it can double as context. Sliding thumb scrolls. To "fire" weapon, must start down on the crosshair & slide.

Building an actual app is a helpful way to concretely test a tool. @unity gave up on gigaya 🤣 @aethiop_io & I decided to build a 🧑‍💻"Code from Phone"🤳feature for @SecureRender. First issue to tackle: Moving a cursor without interfering with scrolling! & vice-ve

Look at your scamcoin in the #blockchain market gutter. Now back at me⚡️LIVESTREAMING🔥OVER👉GUN! 🤯 Where are you? On a dApp (🫡decentralized application) not hosted by @awscloud.🧠🎇 This is how fast your p2p can be, if you smell 50lines of code. Oops, I mean spell.🤭 🔇→🔊

Oops, fixed that: github.com/amark/gun Look at your @SQLServer, now back at me. Where are you? I'm in a browser. This is what your database could look like, if it didn't smell like @Oracle. I have Open Source to those things you like. Now back at me. It's e2e encrypted!

Starting now, with the legend @rikarends ! Entire teams at Google & Apple can't even keep up with him. Tho maybe old school 90s game devs could. 😉 xitter.cf/i/spaces/1DXxyDEVbERJM

Thanks Elon. I assume 9% is enough to Open Source the algorithms? Where/when should devs expect the git repo to land? We're ready to help. xitter.cf/jack/status/1507146276…
The choice of which algorithm to use (or not) should be open to everyone

Here's to Open Sourcing the Algorithms! 🥂 Bluesky was suppose to be this, but @elonmusk may beat @jack to it. 🔥🙏 xitter.cf/marknadal/status/15026…

First game in @SecureRender, snake by @aethiop_io! Only 40 lines of code! 🤯 SR is a browser-based engine combining cybersecurity with graphics & gaming. Any app dev can instantly, on any URL load, privately render user data (avatar, profile, friends) to screen, but can't spy.

Consensus was found that everything should be compatible with the DNS system (URLs in your browser), But security contexts be moved to use self-certifying cryptographic public keys. But then, are we able to also have short human readable names? Yes: xitter.cf/i/spaces/1zqJVBbqwZPJB

My honor to get to interview jsDelivr founder about the journey and learn about what he's up to next! I'm deeply grateful, as I use the Open Source CDN to track the growth of all my own projects, into the tens of millions! Celebrate Builders. 🎉 xitter.cf/i/spaces/1eaKbNYWRldKX

Check out @marknadal interviewing @dominictarr about off-grid living, and then JSON versus binary parseless formats, e.g. BIPF which we use in @manyver_se: 🎥 youtube.com/watch?v=ozpGjeDe…
