Great to see the @OpenClimateFix @turinginst Quartz Solar Nowcasting project announced as finalists for the inaugural #ManchesterPrize for impactful AI for public good.
We will work with @turinginst to further develop our solar forecasting tool Quartz Solar. The project uses AI to predict cloud formation hours ahead of time, allowing solar energy to be more efficiently integrated into the electricity grid.
