It’s always a good day when there’s an OpenBudget update!
We’ve got an update out today!
This update addresses some of the most annoying bugs with OpenBudget. We’ve removed all of the annoying pauses that would happen often, and removed a few bugs with sorting categories.

Messing around with transaction autocomplete for @OpenBudgetApp. It suggests transaction names based on past transactions :)

Getting really hopeful that @OpenBudgetApp will be my long-term budgeting solution. The last big thing to test was automatic paycheck deposit, which worked perfectly this morning. Might there be a light at the end of this dark “Simple is shutting down” tunnel?

This is from the latest release of @OpenBudgetApp. I’m proud to say OpenBudget no longer has any analytics at all.
I hate being tracked by other apps, and it’s rather hypocritical of me to use it in my own apps.
Plus it felt really good to get rid of that switch 🚀
ALT A screenshot of an analytics page in an app saying “Psych! This analytics page can’t turn off analytics because we don’t collect any!”. This screenshot if from a newly released version of the iOS app OpenBudget

Adding finishing touches to the iPadOS app. Its been interesting adapting the iOS UI to the larger screen, but I’m happy with how it turned out!
