He now needs ongoing medical treatment and adult diapers and is awaiting evacuation to receive the care he needs. His mother has a heart condition and high blood pressure and needs regular medication, while his siblings also need medication, including tranquillizers. The family has no provider or source of income and has been displaced around 15 times. They now live in a worn-out tent on rented land that costs $70 a month, sleeping on the ground and relying on a charity kitchen for food when it is available. Water is distributed roughly every three days, and the family often struggles to afford their basic needs and medications.
