I am suffering from #OBF2024 withdrawal symptoms and the only cure will be @OpenBookFest 2025. What a magical few days it was, with insightful discussions, energising encounters and the most amazing authors and their books. Mervyn, Frankie and team get it right every time!

Talking religious trauma later on today! #OBF2024
Considering the continued trauma these hearings also put us through after surviving KSB, it feels very appropriate to be attending a talk on religious trauma today at @OpenBookFest! @pontsho_pilane @ManeoMohale @Siphokazi_J @ThobekaY

i had so much fun diving into these authors’ work!
Busisekile Khumalo, Siya Khumalo and Siphiwe Gloria Ndlovu explored subversive characters with Amogelang Maledu. A compelling dive into unconventional literary figures.
Grateful to all who attended this enlightening session.

“When we enter into relationships we should know they are not all meant to last forever and when we stretch them it can be harmful. Some things are meant to exist only momentarily.”
