This AI agent can book and pay for appointments WITHOUT a checkout flow. Agentic payments are here. Payphone. pro is an example site where - The agent handles the phone conversation - The user can give audio permission - Payments are as seamless as with Uber When you think about it. Checkouts are a very early 2000s skumorphic way to pay. Why do they need to exist other than as a way to capture data and authenticate payments. What happens when that is more ambient?
