Little love that would come around with his sister. The stripe on his nose is beautiful, but a bullseye for predators. Wanted to catch him to keep him safe, but wild bunnies don’t live long in captivity. A few days after this pic he was attacked. Nature is beautiful but cruel 😢

Starlings feasting on berries from our crabapple tree. They can be a real nuisance to farmers, but their murmurations are spectacular! They are the only species of bird to give off this show. Protection, weather and roosting in cold weather, near sunset drive the murmuration 🌎

Lighting striking atop Acatenango volcano in Guatemala

The video was filmed in Antigua Guatemala; however, the volcano depicted is not Acatenango, but Agua. Unlike the nearly perfect conical shape of Agua, Acatenango is adjacent to Fuego and does not have the same distinct cone shape.

Ospreys in this area have an eagle alarm call. When they spot an eagle coming, they make a very specific sound to alert all the other ospreys in the area. Every time I hear that call, I know something crazy is about to happen.
