In a moment of gratitude to God and renewed hope for the future of Ekiti State, my wife and I joined His Excellency, Governor @biodunaoyebanji , his family, and other well-wishers at the BAO 2.0 Thanksgiving Service held at the Cathedral Church of Emmanuel, Okesa, Ado-Ekiti, to celebrate God’s faithfulness and give thanks for the renewal of the people’s mandate.
A renewed mandate is more than a political victory. it is a solemn call to greater service, deeper commitment, and purposeful leadership. I give all glory to Almighty God for this milestone and pray for continued wisdom, strength, and divine grace for His Excellency as he leads Ekiti State towards greater progress and development.
May this new chapter usher in lasting peace, sustainable development, and shared prosperity for our dear state and its people.
Congratulations, Your Excellency. May God continue to strengthen your hands and guide your administration as the good work continues for the benefit of all Ekiti people.

We witnessed a historic day for Ekiti as HE Oyebanji was sworn in for a second term. A beautiful moment, a time to be alive.

Trust is fragile. It is rebuilt daily through openness rather than assumed after victory.
Governor Biodun Oyebanji has made this understanding central to his second term by committing to remain accessible, to listen with intention, and to welcome honest counsel from across every divide.
In doing so, he is modelling a form of leadership that values connection over distance and continuous earning over entitlement. That is a standard worth noticing.

Yesterday, I hosted dinner in honour of @DrObafemiHamzat, the incoming Governor of Lagos State.
A man of the highest integrity, with whom I shared a bunk bed at boarding school 49 years ago.

We undertook our economic reforms to build a stronger foundation for investment and give more Nigerians the opportunity to earn a better living.
I welcome the World Bank Group’s work to mobilise up to $5.79 billion in private financing for Nigeria. This partnership supports our efforts to help businesses expand and attract investment into agriculture and digital infrastructure.
Nigeria has gone a step further to put together a pipeline of 65 bankable projects seeking $78.5 billion in investment. Our Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele @taiwoyedele, presented these opportunities alongside CBN Governor Olayemi Cardoso at the Nigeria Investors Forum, on the sidelines of the 2026 IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok.
I invite Nigerian and international investors to examine these projects and engage directly with their sponsors through Projects Nigeria. Our administration will work with you to resolve obstacles and move viable investments into execution, creating jobs and expanding opportunities for our people.

Eight years. Continuous. Historic.
Today, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji takes the oath that no Ekiti governor before him could take. He is the first since the state was created in 1996 to break the cycle and stay for an unbroken eight year tenure.
This new chapter is marked by shared progress that reaches every home. A new era of continuity begins.
