Was skeptical but to be honest, there are some good ideas in here. Some slop too! But those who can recognize the good ideas and execute will find this a gold mine.
Check out the 1.2m free business ideas we have posted at idealab.ai..

Drop what you’re doing. Go to today’s New York Times Opinion section. Sit down in a quiet corner. Start reading: “I Teach at a Business School: It’s Time to Shut Them Down,”by Chris Marquis, Univ. of Cambridge, former HBS professor.
BRILLIANT.
IRREFUTABLE.
LOOOONG OVERDUE.
This thread is such an amazing example of the state of our tech bros. Scamming people for all their data and making them pay for their own pizza 😭😂😭

DTC supplement founders: what's the worst part of working with your co-man?
MOQs? Lead times? Buying your own ingredients and chasing COAs?
I built and sold a powder co-man (Cascadia Nutrition, acquired 2022).
I'm looking at building the next one. Tell me what to fix.
One pitfall many find in using AIs is prompting it as if it IS a conscious, thinking "thing." It's why it's important to be clear about what AIs are. It has no idea what it's talking about ever. Nor about what is in its context window. Forget that and you lose value.
People without virtue assume those with virtue are “virtue signaling.” Their lack of virtue and this response stem from a lack of empathy. It’s narcissistic to not recognize others’ humanity. Society has advanced because of those who see others’ humanity.
The Palantir manifesto and general response to Elons UBI tweet are uncomfortably revealing many would unknowingly, it seems, walk us straight into a techno-fascist dystopian future.
America was built to resist that kind of tyranny. Fuck fascists.

My problem with the peptide guys is they think “third party tested”means safe quality product. Certainly can’t mean that in the current supply context!
Miller’s nationalism keeps us stuck in today but America was built to construct a better tomorrow. His bigotry doesn’t just fail immigrants, it fails America. It’s anti American. The American project was never abt who we are today. It was always abt who we’re becoming together.
A good ops person can run a great Kaizen and leave the team with nothing. The result is real but the continual improvement capability is never transferred.
That's the ceiling we talk about today, and I share the scaffold you need to bust right through it.

One time a bought an espresso machine for my office. Thought I was pouring doubles but was pouring quads. I learned this in an out of body experience during a meeting following my third for the day. Things were cruising.

We shouldn’t have either - it’s unnecessary for a country who can print money at will collect ANY tax.
But make sense of this… a 70 year old owns a home today valued at $2M - they bought the home 30 years ago for $50,000, maintained the house for 30 years and finally paid the house off - why should they pay any property taxes much less on an increased value of $2M required in most states? And if you can justify that then you understand you open the door for the state to collect taxes on all property; boats, cars, clothes, art, retirement accounts - everything. You either a communist or you’re confused. Not uncommon for academics …
Inverted pyramid truly undefeated. This is the hardest thing I have to convince at leaders of in manufacturing. Your team wants to do the work. You need to be humble enough to let them. Otherwise you are capping your success at what YOU can do instead of 130x you.
Grüns founder & CEO @chadjanis, who just sold his company to Unilever for $1.2B, describes the 3 biggest factors that contributed to Grüns' billion-dollar outcome:
"The first is novel innovation. Each of the products you see us launching does not exist in the market. So when people say 'Who are you competing with?', we're kind of creating our own new categories against large outstanding categories."
"Second is unrelenting urgency. I look back at the urgency my team and I have had for the last three-and-a-half years, and it compounds over time if you're delivering that much urgency and impact every day."
"Third, and this is the most important, is the team. We have 130+ individuals here at this company. We have a culture of autonomy and accountability, and each individual here wakes up every day as the CEO of their domain. So when you take 130+ people who are CEOs of their function and stack that together, you end up where we are today."
Few things more fun as watching this grow and see my wife start to believe and get excited. She was so nervous. But now she’s in it and I love it so much.

Understand your industry’s regs. If you’re unfamiliar with them, the AI’s advice is right even when wrong. It’s your responsibility to know them. Avoid areas you don’t understand . Performance marketers aren’t business professionals, which is why the other departments exist.

Seeing a LOT of people misunderstand how quality works. A negative test on a finished good sample is not enough to release a product of unknown quality on the market. Your "vendor" sending a FG sample to a "lab" of a "not for human use" product cannot legitimately release product
this is the thing about the peptide grey market. you have no guarantee that the vendor won't sell you a bad batch. you think they're gonna waste a whole mfg batch just bc they spotted a bit of mold or had a lead leak?
these mfg probably run big shells and have 7 fronts. kill one when its rep gets used up, prop up the next. rinse repeat.
