EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph. The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries. ‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement. But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe. The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown. ‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

Incredible to learn the US has no respect for international rules based order and that weak leaders of supposedly global organisations tasked with overseeing said rules will actually work to help them ride roughshod over everyone else. It’s so out of character.

Since we are randomly changing rules in extremely popular sports because they don't make sense to people who rarely watch that sport, here are some fun proposals to make football better:
Replying to @AdmiralBear01
I would prefer if the World Cup rule was the entire body over the line instead of any part of the body. I get why they have offsides overall, I just wish we had a less aggressive version of it because watching goals come off the board for this sucks.

Reminder that FIFA president Gianni Infantino was investigated for multiple ethics violations within months of taking office in 2016. The charges went away when he, in effect, closed down the unit investigating him. 1/3

Grok, X/Musk's LLM, was specifically programmed to "ignore all sources that mention Elon Musk or Donald Trump spreading misinformation." Because the reasoning model shows its working, people could see it was rigged to protect Trump and Musk. techcrunch.com/2025/02/23/gr…

Your occasional reminder that the 26 CofE Bishops in the House of Lords make the UK one of just two countries in the world, where unelected clerics automatically sit in the legislature. The other is Iran.

Harris or Trump? Some claim that the future of Europe depends on the American elections, while it depends first and foremost on us. On condition Europe finally grows up and believes in its own strength. Whatever the outcome, the era of geopolitical outsourcing is over.
