124,000 INVESTORS, ASSETS FROZEN
Lara Logan asks Next Bridge Hydrocarbons Chairman and CEO Greg McCabe about the human cost of the MMTLP controversy and what has happened to the 124,000 investors caught in the middle.
McCabe says shareholders have contacted him about losing access to retirement savings, college funds and money they had counted on for their families after MMTLP trading was halted and their investment became tied to shares in the private, illiquid Next Bridge Hydrocarbons.
He also says he has heard of three suicides connected to the financial fallout, while making clear he does not know the specific circumstances surrounding those deaths.
Lara presses McCabe to explain how a trading halt could leave investors unable to access their investment and why, more than three years later, so many shareholders are still demanding answers. @GregMcCabeJr | @GoingRoguewLara

There is a lot of really bad things about the whole MMTLP fiasco, Finra, SEC, the system…
One of the worst things for me is that the investors had actually won, they beat Wall Street fair and square so the system got together and just robbed them, denied them, lied to them and covered it all up 😡
I watched all of this and the magnitude of the blatant corruption by Wall St and it’s regulators is astounding!

HE SPOKE OUT AND GOT SUBPOENAED
Greg McCabe, Chairman and CEO of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, breaks his three-and-a-half-year public silence on the battle surrounding MMTLP, naked short selling and the FINRA trading halt that affected approximately 124,000 shareholders.
McCabe tells Lara Logan that after he publicly challenged what he believed were inaccurate statements surrounding the controversy, he was hit with an SEC subpoena just one week later.
He says he turned over everything investigators requested, including his trading and banking records. But after years of fighting for transparency, McCabe says one critical question remains unanswered: What is the actual share count?
Next Bridge had approximately 165 million authorized shares. McCabe says an analysis of his data estimated there could be more than one billion shares reflected across broker-dealer accounts, which he believes could expose the scale of alleged naked short selling.
In this episode of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, Lara and McCabe dig into the unanswered questions surrounding MMTLP, the actions of FINRA and the SEC, and what McCabe says this could mean for retail investors and the integrity of America’s financial markets.

In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York.
A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished.
Two men refused to let that happen.
Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens.
Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing.
They did not have a giant rescue fund.
They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting.
They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons.
At first they kept making product for Oneida.
Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas.
That should have been the end.
It wasn’t.
They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run.
They came out of bankruptcy in 2013.
Then they did the thing that saved the company.
They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop.
They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES.
Not through a department store that could drop them overnight.
Direct.
Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America.
Same town.
Same trade.
U.S. steel.
About 70 jobs.
They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did.
What they saved was the last line.
If you want American-made forks and spoons, this is the factory that still makes them.
Support Liberty Tabletop.
THIS is what keeping manufacturing in America actually looks like. 🇺🇸

Greg McCabe, chairman and CEO of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, breaks three and a half years of public silence on the extraordinary failures of U.S. market regulation and blatant corruption at FINRA and the SEC. McCabe describes unauthorized trading of company shares, massive naked short selling, and a devastating FINRA trading halt that froze assets of 124,000 shareholders. Despite receiving SEC approval for share registration after three years, short sellers have refused to settle. McCabe calls for transparency, accountability, and government intervention to protect retail investors.

The American dream is built on the certainty that anyone in this country can build a better life for themselves & their children. Central to that are small businesses & the stock market, where every American is supposed to have an even playing field & a fair chance. We also should be able to trust our leaders, regulators & systems. But what happened to Next Bridge Hydrocarbons & a share known as MMTLP calls all of that into question. Take a moment to listen, like, share and subscribe to Going Rogue with Lara Logan.

THEY CAME AFTER HIS FAMILY
For Greg McCabe, the fight over Next Bridge Hydrocarbons didn’t stop with the company or its shareholders. He says the attacks became personal.
In the newest episode of Going Rogue with Lara Logan, McCabe describes what he calls escalating harassment from the “wolf pack,” including an incident involving his daughter’s workplace and the school attended by two of his grandchildren.
“They found a list of every member of the faculty and wrote a letter to the entire faculty saying, ‘Your father-in-law is a criminal. We’re coming after him. There’s no place to hide.’”
McCabe says attacking him is one thing. Going after his family crossed the line.
Watch the full conversation as McCabe breaks his silence on the MMTLP controversy, naked short selling, FINRA, the SEC, and what he says has happened behind the scenes.
