It's a ridiculous premise to assume rampant criminal gangs are running within the ranks of LASD and identifying themselves with tattoos, but nobody has ever been arrested and charged with a crime that was committed to benefit, or at the direction, or in association of said gang
An alleged tattoo list is now being used to frame the size of LASD “deputy gangs.” Where is the evidence connecting the people counted to misconduct? LA Public Press’s latest story cites 271 current and former employees with admitted or suspected tattoos, based on a former lieutenant’s description of an internal investigative report. *The publication acknowledges it has not obtained that report.* Yet a subheading describes a list of nearly 300 “deputy gang members.” That is a significant leap. And here’s some context: As I reported in The Current Report in March, the Office of Inspector General’s February 26, 2026 report stated that, to its knowledge, LASD had not identified any group qualifying as a law enforcement gang under Penal Code §13670. That describes a failure to identify qualifying groups - and it absolutely matters when assessing claims about hundreds of alleged members. California’s law requires a pattern of on-duty misconduct to establish a law enforcement gang. A tattoo alone does not satisfy that definition. Even the OIG said they don’t have a problem with station tattoos at a @lacountybos meeting earlier this year. Release the report. Reconcile the numbers. Identify the misconduct and show the evidence. If it’s substantiated, they should be held accountable. Accountability also includes the newsroom reporting unsubstantiated information as fact.

Movie stars are not reliable sources for political advice. They pretend to be other people every day for money and will say anything for a price. They'll even cry. Besides, AI is gonna replace them all within the next decade or so, and nobody will remember them anyway.

There are two separate list prices to end the "homeless" problem in America. One is the price if you are willing to call bums, tramps, and hobos what they are — bums, tramps, and hobos. That price is a lot less than $20 billion. The other is the price if you insist on calling bums "homeless". That price is infinity dollars. Because you can't solve a problem, no matter how much money you spend, until you understand what they problem is. If you call a guy "homeless", that means you think the problem is that he doesn't have a home. But the problem isn't THAT he doesn't have a home, it's WHY he doesn't have a home. He doesn't have a home because he is incapable of the basic life tasks you have to do so that you have one. So buying him a place to lay his head won't fix anything. It won't make him less addicted to heroin. Or less schizophrenic. Or less antisocial and unable to sustain the basic human relationships necessary to have a job or an income. The problem isn't that they don't have things. So you can't fix them by giving them things. It's that they can't do things. So what you have to do is stop giving them things so they have to fix themselves. And if they can't, you physically remove them from society so they can't bother functional people. And if you're not adult enough to be willing to do that, because you can't stand looking mean, then you're not adult enough to be trusted with $20 billion to "fix homelessness".
Cost to end homelessness in the U.S. is about $20-30 billion.

Dear @Sec_Noem and @CMDROpAtLargeCA I'd like to recommend a highly effective non-lethal tool for riot and crowd control. You don't even need the cannons, just douse em down and they'll melt like sugar.

Somehow, I'm pretty sure I missed Tuesday. I began to suspect it when I missed trash day on Thursday. I tried, but I have no memory of anything that occurred that day. 🤔

I fell asleep on the back patio until 4 a.m., and now I have 7 mosquito bites. Both elbows, my thumb, and two on my face. I think it might actually be leprosy. 🧌
