I think the panic surrounding the @BBC has demonstrated one thing: The public can make it abundantly clear when they disagree with something the government is doing. But rather than listening to public opinion and adapting accordingly, those in power seem more interested in finding new ways to force it upon us anyway with a "And what are YOU gonna do about it" attitude.

Why are there so many people from the US tweeting "I've just heard a British person say......" and list some mundane shite then proceed to be shocked by it. Like... is it your first day on the internet and never had the experience of hearing the elusive "Brit"? -We call vacuums "Hoovers" -We have our washing machine in the kitchen -We can only buy 2 packs of ibuprofen at a time and they dont come in bottles, they come in blister packs. -We use a washing up bowl in the sink. - We dont have plug sockets in our bathrooms - Air con is not standard in homes - We dont have insect screens on windows - Some shops have trolleys (shopping carts) that need a £1 coin to unlock them for use. - We pay the price listed on the shelf, the tax is included. - We can buy alcohol in the same store as our milk. - We drink squash and dilute it with water. - Eggs arent stored in a supermarket fridge. - Yearly car MOTs to prove the car is safe for the road. - We dont have car registration tags to renew every year. - We dont pay tips as standard.. we pay tips for outstanding service and theres no offence when one isnt paid. - no HOAs

236 sub points/210 subscribers 🥹💜 Behind that number are people choosing to support me, my little corner of the internet and the things I love making. I don’t take that for granted. Because of you, I’m going to be able to get the field monitor I need for recording, meaning I can actually see what I’m filming for my videos! Thank you so much 🥹💜 I'd never have been able to build what I have without you 🥹💜 We have 2x 12 hour streams this weekend as a thank you!

So the dyatlov pass incident has been pretty much explained? Wdyt? 9 hikers, all dead, 9 sets of footprints calmly walking away from a tent that was cut open from the inside. They walk 1.5km without shoes or proper clothing, some in their underware in-25°C - -40°C. Some had traumatic blunt force injuries (broken ribs, skull fractures etc) some of their clothing has higher than normal radiation levels. 2 were found with missing eyes and tongues. Investigation was closed abruptly and classified by the Soviet government... Explanation? A slab avalanche, a slab of compacted ice/snow fell off the ridge they cut into and camped next to, hitting some of them hard while they slept.. like a car crash. This caused the tent to collapse and the blunt force injuries. They then cut out of the tent to escape, leaving their gear behind and all walk to the safety of the closest trees for cover, fearing a larger avalanche was coming. They walk together, helping eachother and not running. Poorly clothed, and trying to survive, the dip in temperature caused them to start dying of hypothermia. They start trying to make a fire but get burned. Some tried to return to the tent, but died during the return. The ones with no eyes and tongues, they were found 3 months later in a meltwater ravine where fish and microbes ate the soft tissue. The radiation from the unsafe working conditions of those hikers during that time? It was not a cause of death, and explains why only some had radiated clothes. The rush to classify the Investigation could have been out of fear. That they couldn't answer what happened and the exposure of the unsafe nuclear safety being exposed during that time potentially causing public speculation and panic. I feel like this answers the questions and makes sense. I've read all sorts of theories too!
