Nothing better than a quick check in from your own mentor. We only actually talk & catch up maybe 2x per year but these conversations have massively impacted the trajectory of my life. Mentors = show you what is actually possible.

Residency is done! Definitely the most meaningful graduation of my life, being celebrated (and roasted) by my incredible mentors, surrounded by some of my best friends and family. Also incredibly humbling to be honored by my coresidents with the Status Pedagogicus In Situ Award.

It’s crazy to me that it was only 8 years ago that the first CAR T cell product was approved. Now people are designing in vivo CARs, armored CARs, switch-receptor CARs etc. This field is moving at the speed of light!

Wouldn’t trade the last 2 years at @NCICCR_SurgOnc for anything. Immensely grateful to the Surgical Oncology Program and @NCI_SurgOncFel for investing in my education and growth. Returning to @rwjsurgery filled with gratitude and enthusiasm for this field

It’s June 1! And at my hospital that means our interns get started on the floors in 20 days! So here are a list of things many of us learned this year just being an intern (in any specialty!) 🤓
