Serving Durham police officer CHARGED with sexual communication with a child WTF 🤬 🤬 A serving Durham Constabulary police officer has been charged with two counts of sexual communication with a child following his arrest. Haydyn Brunsdon, 31, who holds the rank of police constable, was arrested in the early hours of Friday, September 25, and taken into police custody. He has since been charged with two counts of sexual communication with a child and remanded in custody. Brunsdon is due to appear before Teesside Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday, September 26. Durham Constabulary has also suspended him from duty while the criminal investigation continues. The development follows claims circulating earlier this week concerning alleged online communications involving a person presented as a 13-year-old child. Yesterday, reporting confirmed that a 31-year-old serving Durham officer had initially been arrested on suspicion of sexual communication with a child and misconduct in public office. The position has now moved significantly beyond an arrest, with Brunsdon facing two criminal charges and being kept in custody ahead of his first court appearance. Despite the precautions our Holborn and St Pancras campaigning team took today, including hiring private security, moving locations and more, we did think the ‘anti-racist’ mob would somehow turn up to attack and intimidate our action day today. So we made a plan. Our campaign manager, @lewisrholmes, knew that he would be targeted again so he volunteered to leave our main group and take the protestors along with him. It worked. They followed and abused Lewis, whilst he attempted to leaflet an area away from the other campaign groups. The goons, like the thick-minded idiots they are, took the bait and hounded Lewis. That allowed the rest of our team to continue the campaigning day, which allowed thousands and thousands of leaflets to be delivered. A big thanks to Lewis, who put it all together, and a huge well done to the team who have contacted thousands of Holborn & St Pancras residents with our message. Their attack on our team has also led to massive coverage of our campaign messages on social media. It's an utter disgrace what has happened, but we will not let the mob stop us. A well deserved pint for the team.
