Two instruments that should never meet but when they do, you get this. The kora is 300 years old. 21 strings made from a calabash and cow skin, from West Africa. The cello is 500 years old. 4 strings, from 16th century Europe. Different worlds with different histories but they speak the same language. Ballaké Sissoko & Vincent Segal from their album Chamber Music.

It is not necessary to be a certified cult member to be an interested owner of a crypto $XRP The charts alone have always been enough reason for us to make a bet There is a difference between being open minded and having a hole in the dead

Footage of when The Notorious B.I.G. freestyled “Long Kiss Goodnight” (2pac Diss) on LA Radio 5 months after 2pac’s death. A lot of fans believe that THIS was the reason why Biggie ended up getting murdered in LA on March 9th, 1997….

Charlie Hunter playing D'Angelo's "The Root," wielding a a custom 8-string bass/guitar combo – the upper 3 strings are bass and the bottom 5 guitar – allowing Hunter to play both parts simultaneously. He co-wrote it with D’Angelo after jamming together to Jimi Hendrix songs during the “Voodoo” sessions at Electric Lady Studios.

THE SPIRITUAL WEIGHT OF SEXUAL CONNECTIONS: SOUL TIES, ENERGY ENTANGLEMENTS, AND THE PATH TO HEALING There are unions the body remembers long after the room has gone quiet. Not merely skin against skin, but a crossing of currents—subtle, ancient, and rarely spoken of with the reverence they deserve. Sexual connection is never only physical. It is a rite. Two fields of consciousness open, interpenetrate, and leave traces. What we call pleasure is often the surface shimmer of something far older: the weaving of soul threads, the braiding of auric filaments, the quiet contract signed in the language of energy. A soul tie is not always a curse, nor always a blessing. It is a living cord. Sometimes it is golden and luminous, carrying devotion, recognition, and the memory of having met before the body was born. Sometimes it is knotted, darkened, or barbed—formed in hunger, secrecy, imbalance, or unfinished longing. These cords do not vanish because the relationship ends. They continue to hum. They can drain vitality, replay old grief in the nervous system, or keep a person half-present in a life that has already moved on. Energy entanglement is the quieter cousin of the soul tie: residual imprints in the sacral, the heart, the solar plexus; the sense that another’s emotional weather still moves through your inner sky. The body is an altar. What is offered upon it is not forgotten by the subtle body. Repeated union without presence, without reverence, without reciprocity, can leave a person feeling scattered—as though pieces of their essence were left in rooms they no longer enter. Shame, obsession, sudden grief without a name, or an inexplicable pull toward someone who is gone are often the symptoms of unfinished energetic business. Healing does not begin with condemnation. It begins with seeing. Sit in stillness and feel the places that still answer to another name. Trace the cord not with accusation but with awareness. Some ties can be blessed and released—thanked for what they taught, then cut with clean intention, visualization, prayer, or ritual. Others require more: the return of one’s own energy, the calling back of fragments, the sealing of the field. Breath, salt, water, fire, sound, and honest confession to the self are old medicines. So is the decision to no longer offer the sacred chamber of the body as a place of transaction. There is a path beyond entanglement that is not celibacy for its own sake, but consecration. Union that is chosen, present, and mutually sovereign can become a vessel of transmission rather than depletion. Two souls meeting without stealing from each other. Two fields overlapping without dissolving. That is the higher possibility hidden inside the same mystery. Until then, tend the garden of your own energy. Call your light home. Untie what no longer belongs. The body will remember peace when the cords no longer pull. The soul, which never truly left itself, will recognize its own weight again—whole, unborrowed, and free.

Neurophysiologist Louisa Nicola trains NBA players' brains and studies Alzheimer's for a living, and she says this 5-minute drill can sharpen your brain: "Using just a tennis ball and an eye patch, you can train your cognitive reserve, your processing speed, and your reaction time." "Start by throwing the ball against the wall, right arm to right arm, then alternate hands. That alone engages almost all of your executive functions." "Then put on an eye patch to block out 50% of your vision, so your visual system has to work under load and stress. To make it harder, stand on one leg and bring your cerebellum and balance into it." "This is the same drill I used with NBA players to sharpen their reaction time." PS. We post daily breakdowns on brain health and longevity, so if that's you, follow us @LxngevityLab for more.
