Here is the post I will pin to note that I don't really post here anymore!
Various ways to stay in touch here: jarednewman.com
I don't really post here anymore, but now I have a blog! jarednewman.com/blog/
It took almost five years, but this little newsletter just got its thousandth paid subscriber. (Erm, it also went weekly a few years ago and goes out on Tuesdays now.)
So, this might be crazy, but I'm launching a paid newsletter focused on consumer tech advice, called Advisorator. It goes out every other Monday, and you can join the free trial right now without a credit card: advisorator.com 1/4
I'll probably wax poetic about it at some point soonish because I've learned a ton over all those years. In the meantime here's the latest issue - advisorator.com/members/2023…
So in addition to the Dastomon link in my bio, you can also find me on Nubstack Stotes, where I'm experimenting with something newsletter-related: substack.com/profile/2313917…
Okay Twitter, I need your help. If you've subscribed to Paramount+ before, but are NOT a current subscriber, holler at me. I'd really appreciate it!
Supposedly this shortened link to my Mastodon profile should work. Let’s try it out! spacekaren.sucks/dvahs
This admin of my Mastodon instance created a redirect in hopes of making profile links work here again. This too has also now been banned.
Twitter banning links to a competing service feels like it should be a bigger story imo theverge.com/2022/12/15/2351…
Weirdest thing about this is the penultimate graf insinuating that Twitter—rather than newsletter creators—owns the subscriber lists.

Still don't love posting here but please, delete your phone number from Twitter and use an authenticator app for 2FA instead: businessinsider.com/twitter-…
Here's the page where you can remove your number: xitter.cf/settings/phone
And turn off location sharing in iOS/Android settings.

Friendly reminder that I'm also on Mastodon, and that posting here makes me feel bad! writing.exchange/@newmy

This is possible! Trying it a different way now. xitter.cf/kasey__moore/status/16…
