While we continue to support the flood response and move toward recovery, our commitment to the regular programs that build sustainable capacity remains just as strong. One such milestone: the establishment of our second Simulation Lab. 🧵
This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to strengthening the health workforce and supporting sustainable improvements in the quality of care for mothers and newborns in Nepal.
Milestone in Nepal: all seven provinces now have a rural obstetric ultrasound training site! In September, One Heart Worldwide supported the Government of Nepal in opening the final site in Madhesh Province. Photos from the opening ceremony. (1/3)
Our support for the Madhesh site: we upgraded the training room, provided equipment and supplies, supplied ultrasound machines, and sent master trainers to work alongside local trainers and managers through the first full training batch. (2/3)
A week on the ground in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. Since the floods struck, our team has been working with the Government of Nepal to reach the hardest-hit communities with what families and health facilities need most. 🧵
