Hey @MLB - wanna get more kids watching baseball? Maybe start with the commercials. Watching the playoffs tonight with my kids and here's the rundown: - Megan Fox selling ED pills in a red bodysuit - The scariest movie trailer you've ever seen - Sydney Sweeney in zero clothes promoting betting on sports Leagues can't figure out why kids don't watch. You don't need a Nickelodeon game. You're not the Savannah Bananas. Just show baseball in a way I can leave on in my house.

Tonight Jalon Daniels won his first game as an NFL quarterback. He was on the Prime Video set afterward when he stopped talking and waved somebody over. "Ma, come here. Ma, come here." Her name is Star. Jalon Daniels' father made it clear he was not going to be part of their lives. Here is what his mother decided to do about that. "I wanted to make sure that he never felt that feeling of not having Dad there." So she worked full time for an insurance company and took a second seasonal job at Toys R Us. She drove him to Pop Warner practices. She would not let him sleep over at friends' houses until high school, though he could bring ten of them to hers anytime. And when he wanted to go to a party, there was a condition. She parked outside of it. "She let me know when it was time to leave," he says, laughing. "An hour and a half before the party ended, we were on our way home." Here is the other thing she told him, over and over. She wanted him to grow up to be the kind of man anybody's daughter could bring home to her mother. Now the football, which nobody handed him either. His sophomore year at Narbonne High School in Los Angeles, the coaches moved him back down to the freshman team. He transferred to Lawndale High School, won the job, and Lawndale went 14 and 2 and took the first state championship in school history. His first scholarship offer came from Tennessee-Martin. He committed to Middle Tennessee State. Then Kansas came to see him in December of his senior year, and he flipped. He gave the Kansas Jayhawks six seasons. In 2021 he beat Texas in Austin, where Kansas had not won a game since 1938. In 2022 he threw for 544 yards in the Liberty Bowl. Then a back injury took 2023 away, and most players leave at that point. He stayed. He graduated with a 3.58 GPA. He was voted team captain four times, which no Kansas player had ever done. And with the first real money he was ever allowed to earn, he started a foundation for single mothers raising athletic children. He named it after her. In April, all 32 teams passed on him for seven rounds. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him as an undrafted free agent on May 8. Tonight was his second career start. He went 19 of 25 for 189 yards and threw a touchdown to Bucky Irving. The Buccaneers beat the Dallas Cowboys 24 to 16 for their first win of the season after losing their first four. One win does not make anybody an NFL quarterback, and he would tell you that himself. But when the cameras finally found him, the first thing he did was make sure they found her too. "No matter what, I was present, and he always knew I was present."

The bodycam footage is finally out. And now the truth is there for everyone to see. HeeHaw wasn’t charging. He wasn’t attacking. He wasn’t some uncontrollable threat. He was doing what everyone who knew him said he always did: running up to greet someone in his friendly, curious way. And for that, Officer Trenton Garner shot and killed him. Watching the footage makes this even harder to stomach. HeeHaw was a one-year-old miniature donkey, on his own property, being himself. That should never have ended with a gunshot. For weeks, we demanded answers. We demanded the footage. We demanded accountability. Now we have the footage, and if anything, it makes the need for justice even more urgent. There is no world where what happened to HeeHaw should simply be accepted and forgotten. We are furious. We are heartbroken. And we are more determined than ever. Officer Trenton Garner must be held accountable for what happened to HeeHaw. We will not stop speaking his name. We will not stop pushing for answers. We will not stop until there is justice. #JusticeForHeeHaw. Now more than ever.

I walk this park often next to my kids school after drop off. It's a special park to me. I have so many memories here pushing my kids on the swing when they were younger. I particularly like seeing the season change and always look at the Sycamore trees during fall/winter/spring.

God has been teaching me something through my sweet dog, Ranger. When Ranger went blind and had to have both of his eyes removed, my heart broke. I wondered why this had happened to him. But today, I realized something that changed my perspective. God sent Ranger into my life to teach me what complete trust looks like. Ranger can’t see me anymore, but he follows my voice without hesitation. He trusts that I’ll lead him, protect him, and never leave him. He doesn’t question where we’re going or why. He simply trusts. Watching him has made me realize that’s exactly how God wants me to trust Him. So often I want to be in control. I want to know the plan and see what’s ahead before I take the next step. But Ranger has shown me what faith really looks like—letting go of my own control and completely trusting the One who loves me. If my blind dog can trust me with his whole heart, then I can trust God with mine. Thank you, Ranger, for reminding me that faith isn’t about seeing the path—it’s about trusting the One who is leading the way.

Hit by a car on Tuesday and left by the side of the road. Some big updates on Bruno's health today and some very very good news for him! A longer watch but one that shows the ups and downs of a street dog rescue!
