The average age that a child is coerced into sex trafficking is 13
This is a difficult conversation but one we need to have
Today is #NationalHumanTrafficking Awareness Day, but awareness is just the beginning

OneChild's founder, @cherylperera was honoured to help @Sflecce @JaneMcKennaON , & Chief of #yorkregionalpolice Jim MacSween announce on Tues, all ON certified educators must now complete a comprehensive mandatory sexual abuse prevention program by September 2022. First in CDA.
Parents deserve to know if their child’s educator has been charged — not just convicted — of a serious crime.
Ontario is the first Canadian jurisdiction to do so.

YAS was so lucky to have Alexandra Ford, an international motivational speaker and survivor, come to speak with us the other week. Our YAS was so inspired and motivated by her, and we cannot wait to see what she does next! Thank you so much @thelaughingsurvivor
This year's YAS members have been selected, so we're thinking of the ways youth can get involved in the fight against the sexual exploitation of children! The best part? You can use your talents, your gifts, and your passion to find what kind of involvement most suits you!
