It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.

At my direction, following the visit of a high-level Federal Government delegation that I sent to the Esiele and Yawota communities in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, I have approved the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards in collaboration with the Oyo State Government.
After 3 years, the First Flyover in Akure becomes a reality. Aketi is a gift that keeps on giving!

I had the honour of presenting my Letter of Credence to the Secretary-General of the @UN in New York, USA, officially assuming my role as Nigeria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
This marks Nigeria’s renewed voice, commitment, and presence in global diplomacy.

“We will not submit to noise, rascality, or disobedience to lawful court orders. We must uphold democracy, respect the judiciary whether it favours us or not, and remain faithful to the principles that hold our nation together.
There is no path to national greatness except the path of building one country, one common vision, one shared future of progress and prosperity for all Nigerians. That is what Renewed Hope is about.
They cannot scare me off. I have been through this road before and, if I must walk it again and again for our country, I will. There is no better place than Nigeria, and no one will build it for us except ourselves.
I have listened. I know the journey is not easy. But I give you my word: I will not run away from this task. I will not give up. Coordinate from the ward level, act as one family, stay focused on what we promised Nigerians, and stand firm.”
This was my message to the leadership and coordinators of my Renewed Hope Ambassadors this afternoon.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The work continues.

In moments like this, we remember the former Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Akeredolu, for standing firm and ensuring Amotekun became a reality in the Southwest. Keep resting, hero. The seeds you planted are growing beautifully.
A sane Nigerian shouldn't be happy about a foreign president threatening to invade our country. Such statements undermine our dignity and national pride.

Earlier today, I delivered a Goodwill Message at the official flag-off of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0, graciously led by His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON.
This milestone represents another stride in our journey to build an empowered, innovative, and employable generation of young Nigerians. Since its inception in 2021, the NJFP has provided over 13,000 graduates with life-changing opportunities in mentorship, skills development, and workplace experience, and with this new phase, we aim to reach 20,000 more, moving toward our long-term goal of 100,000 placements in five years.
The success of the NJFP is a testament to what is possible when government, development partners, and the private sector work together with purpose. I commend the UNDP, the European Union, and the Office of the Vice President for their unwavering collaboration and belief in Nigeria’s youth.

In 2025 alone, the Kuje Custodial Centre has produced 7 inmate graduates as part of its mandate to provide a conducive environment for learning and rehabilitation.
Till date, it has produced 1 PhD and 6 Master degree holders. Also, 5 other degree holders are due for graduation this year.
The centre has equally produced 45 undergraduates, with 95 inmates currently enrolled for NABTEB, as well as another 95 enrolled for NECO.
It is impressive to see the private sector and the civil society organizations like the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) partner with the government to give a new lease of life to inmates.

Thank God for the 2 Ministers we have from Ondo State, BTO and Ayo Wisdom. They are the ones making the people feel the presence of Government in the state as Aiyedatiwa remains clueless & directionless.
They are the ones covering up the leadership vacuum. God bless them!🙏
Ondo State is one of the top 10 States with the highest Federal allocation. From Jan - July 2025, Ondo state has received N109billion. This is an average of N15BILLION monthly.
Except editing roads, what has Aiyedatiwa been doing with our money? Shey na like this we go dey go?
Despite this huge allocation, Aiyedatiwa is still strangling the local governments, removing a large portion of their allocation and leaving them with barely N5m monthly. The tertiary institutions in the state are also starving for funds and struggling to survive.

Look at FAAC allocation from Jan 2025 till date.
Look at what your Governors are collecting & compare with the state of affairs in your STATE.
Ogun is LAST & they are still attracting investments than 90% of states in Nigeria.

My Dear Son, Seyi,
As you turn forty, I thank Almighty God for your life and the man you have become. You have walked your path with focus, courage, and humility, and you have done so with a heart that seeks to build, serve, and uplift others.
From an early age, you have shown determination and a desire to create and lead. I have watched you turn ideas into institutions and challenges into opportunities. In business through Loatsad and your various endeavors, and in service, you have shown that true success is not only measured by wealth or power but by the impact we make and the lives we touch.
Forty is a special age. It bridges youthful drive and the more profound wisdom that life brings. You have carried your name with honour and have remained faithful to the values of discipline, integrity, and hard work.
Through your work with the Noella Foundation, you have brought hope to families across Nigeria, created opportunities for many young people, and extended compassion to those in need. Your commitment to philanthropy, especially in education, social development, youth empowerment, and maternal and child welfare, reflects the values I hold dear.
Our entire family is proud of you. We are proud of the family you are building with Layal, your devotion as a husband and father, and your commitment to making a difference in your generation.
As you celebrate this milestone, remember that your strength lies in what you achieve and how you inspire others to believe. May God bless you with wisdom, good health, and peace.
Happy 40th Birthday, my son. You have made us proud, and I know you will continue to make Nigeria proud.
Your Dad,
Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
The Aso Villa,
