Children need confidence to hold their own in all kinds of situations. Building oral confidence, the ability to speak in public, the ability to articulate, to argue, and to discuss is crucial. Performing arts help youngsters to support one another and give confidence when needed.
Katie Zachariah, Trump’s press Secretary, is even more outrageous than her boss. She claims that eight out of ten women suffered miscarriages after the Covid vaccine and that the abortion pill, Mifepristone, has the same chemicals as were used in the Nazi extermination camps.
So Trump used footage of the young man in the tiger enclosure and said, ‘Don’t mess with nature.’ If ever you wanted a measure of the man, this is it. Thoughtless, heartless and totally lacking in humanity. He is a mess of nature, an abhorrence!
How can screens, as in interactive whiteboards, destroy oral skills when much of what is on the screens is designed to instigate thought, analysis and discussion?
‘Mother’s Pride’ - possibly the most cliched, predictable film I’ve ever seen. The script was pedestrian, the acting at best average, BUT I loved the it. Warm, sentimental, old-fashioned but a huge feel good factor that makes up for all of its flaws. Watch it!

Manchester City have been found guilty of cheating. Feel sorry for their fans but the clubs apparently ‘dodgy dealings’ gave them an unfair advantage. They should be ashamed and accept their punishment with good grace.
