Top quality customer service from the lady at @intergasuk I had ordered a couple of bottles for my blowtorch via Amazon and DPD did their trick of "we attempted delivery" when I was 100% at home at the time + now sending them back. Quick phone call, replacements on way today.
The Cav Diplomat heater matrix is leaking big time. Bought 14 2L bottles of water to get to a job in Hawick today and then the car lost power and I knew it was going to end up backfiring the last of the sound deadening out. Had to force it going 3rd to 2nd as fast as I could 😂
Cars badly needed washed yesterday so dug out the petrol pressure washer. Bought a Corsa C the other week, vid on channel it's an awesome little car.
Lots of work to do on lots of cars. The parts and tools ordering from eBay and Amazon has been nuts 😂
Ahah found my way back into the ODFS X account. Fantastic. We've got the Cavalier Diplomat back on the road for a bit to let Le Cav get some maintenance. And quite a few videos up on YT.

The Golf GTi is a 16v so it looks to be the best option. XR3i no match for that lot.

100% would have had one of these if they brought them to the UK. Weird GM didn't as they did make the BLS (which the US didn't get)
Fitted a new/old stock Peco Big Bore 1 to the Cavalier Diplomat this week along with a 20SEH (non cat) system. Had to wait ages for the centre section which I had to get from Poland as there was no UK stock.

A rare bit of Vauxhall literature landed today, a confidential dealer and fleet brochure on the Mk3 Astra saloon and its main rivals. Some of these Astra models sold in tiny numbers and may well be extinct. Same for the Orion, 400 & 19 we suspect. Wonderfully in depth stuff! 🤩
A very strange early MK3 Astra: the L. Available presumably so company car drivers didn't get a base level Merit, which actually came with the more powerful 1.4Si in saloon and estate form. What did the L have over a Merit? A driver seat height adjuster. That's literally it.
