there’s a huge damage the concept of ‘digital currency’ is doing to us and we don’t know it yet. you go out with friends or to a party and easily make transfers worth hundreds of thousands and feel nothing but if you count hundred thousand and pay for a something, you’d actually feel the money leaving your life and finance. it’s same for traders. you lose $100, $200 and it’s normal but $300 in naira is almost 400k, that’s someone’s house rent. and when you keep up like that, you slowly start becoming poor cause you can’t properly account for it. it’s the reason i don’t take my losses lightly and occasionally, i have cash at home ranging from 50k, 100k, etc, banded for reality check. once told my contacts a good amount of my weekly remit comes as cash weekly too… i could easily tell them to deposit it into my account but I dey go there go collect am myself so I count it and keep it at home in case I wan start to move funny. same reason I don’t chest billing. e no shake me to dash random person 200k or 300k but my mommy didn’t birth a fool. I no dey give you pass 20k or 50k. If you like, be like Rihanna. it’s for same reason you will never see me inside a club except I own it or I am going in with a bag of cash to pay for things I am buying so i count and pay while accounting for every naira spent.
