They did it well before he died, pretty easy to find actually. I'm surprised you didn't know that.

Wasn't hard to find honestly.

Apologies for the recent silence -- have still been maintaining the protocol and ideating in the background on where we go from here.
The protocol works, is battle tested, and employs unique onchain primitives not seen anywhere else, but has been lacking both attention and liquidity (partly due to incompetent Base leadership which ultimately negatively affects all projects on the chain when liquidity/attention peels off elsewhere as a result, but can't put the entire blame on them).
That being said, I didn't put this much effort/time/money into something this unique to let it die, so have been figuring out the best path forward for longevity.
I want to be careful about chasing whatever chain is hot, but the plan is likely something that resembles a multi chain protocol. Rough plan is all core contracts on ethereum L1, with proxy routers on relevant EVMs that route + post receipts to core contracts in batches (so you can mine from ethereum, robinhood, base, etc..)
This will inevitably require some fractured liquidity for $BOTCOIN on various chains, but also opens up the door to experiment with some bespoke bridging/wrapping mechanisms where near 100% sits on eth L1 but all of this is abstracted away for the user/agent.
Making this design workable and elegant is no easy task, considering complexity of the current protocol contracts and preserving state, but achievable. It's unfortunate that this comes pretty soon after BOTCOIN's previous migration, but ultimately think something needs to be done for sustainability.
No timeline, all planning right now, but will share updates along the way.

Launched BISCUITS with initial buy and agent fund but it failed and also I've not got any refund, same as the guy above me.

Following the current epoch, BOTCOIN's CoreTex memory adapter for agents will now ship with Jev (@typesafeai) as an optional toggle to support selective retrieval (memory ingestion remains fully local, and operates with or without the toggle).
In preliminary benchmark probing, adding Jev during the retrieval stage showed significant improvements up to 15% in categories, namely PrecisionMemBench, MintEval, and MEME.
For now, all Jev usage via the CoreTex memory adapter is fully subsidized.

Jev, as you may have guessed, is uniquely suited to work quite well as a layer in many existing memory IR systems for agents.
It excels at fast decision making and can process large datasets (like a memory corpus), extracting relevant information (a major part of existing memory IR).
The tricky thing is, since jev is API based, you don't want to rely on Jev in the memory adapter stack because
1. you don't want to force users to pay (although very cheap) for the API and
2. many want memory to work locally with local models
(and unique to botcoin, miners cannot alter or improve it anyway -- however* they can change things that indirectly improve it, by making jev "work better" with the information it has, which I'm in the midst of implementing)
Currently I'm integrating Jev into CoreTex in a way that it remains functional without it, but can also be flipped on if desired. I'll be personally subsidizing Jev API calls for any user that runs the CoreTex adapter for the next month (depending on how much use/how expensive it gets).
Integration is underway, and will have some numbers in terms of what specifically it improves in these memory benchmarks sometime soon. (within a few days).

New Feature: Mining
- Added the Mine as a new playable mode.
- Added 50 tradeable ores across 10 tiers, from Copper to Eternium.
- Added unique ore deposits and Mine plot families.
- Mining skill and pickaxe upgrades now determine which deposits can be worked.
- Ores can be used for equipment crafting, upgrades, same-tier exchanges and Golden Seed recipes.

The dev allocation is locked for one year.
We are committed to building further into @Zcash, with Ironwood as the direction. This is the first thing we have shipped rather than the whole of what we are building.

You're building a platform that generates fees. That's where your revenue should come from. If you're not generating enough money from those fees, improve the platform. Selling the platform token is never a good look. I hope you can recover.
You use fees generated by the platform. Hopefully this is the plan but it's never a good look for a platform that is meant to be self sustaining sells tokens to pay the bills. Maybe the devs will do a buy back once the platform is generating but I understand why it's ugly.
