Fones Road Project Update: Partial road closures the week of October 19, 2026, south of the compact roundabout near Home Depot. Crews will be installing concrete pads between 7am-5pm in the south project area. Read the full enews at olympiawa.gov/fonesroad to learn more.

Fones Road Update: Starting tomorrow night, crews will raise utilities and stripe the road/pathway, which requires a full north end road closure between Pacific Ave and the Woodland Trail on Oct 7 and Oct 8 from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. Read the latest enews at olympiawa.gov/fonesroad.
Crews will also stripe the south end of Fones Road between the south Home Depot entrance and 18th Avenue on October 8-10, 2026. One lane will remain open to alternate traffic.

Traffic Alert: Ensign Road Lane Closure. On Monday, Aug. 3, City crews will repair asphalt on Ensign Road. The northbound lane between Martin Way and Providence Lane will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 am-2 pm. The southbound lane and sidewalks will remain open.
Fones Rd Update: Crews will install the new roundabout as soon as Mon, July 27. Fones Rd will be closed 24hrs/day at the Home Depot south driveway for ~3 weeks. Thru traffic must use detour. Access maintained to homes, businesses and emergency vehicles. olympiawa.gov/fonesroad
