The pump track at Isthmus Park will be removed 10/7 and Parks staff will be completing maintenance at the park this week and next. This work will be followed by site prep for Oly on Ice, which opens for the season on 11/20. The pump track is expected to return mid-March 2027.
Earlier this summer, we had the chance to ride along with Dawson, one of our Night Rovers, for a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep Olympia’s parks clean, safe and ready for you. On this last day of summer, come along for Part 1 of A Day in the Life with @OlyPARD.
Black Lake Meadows will be closed 9/21-22 for heavy vegetation clearing in the park. Because this equipment can throw debris a long distance, the parking lot and park will be closed for safety while work is underway. Signs will be posted on site. Come visit once the work is done! – at Olympia, WA
We may call it the "Parks Plan" for short, but our long-range plan is about more than just parks! We want to hear what kinds of arts, culture, public art, creative spaces, and community events you’d like to see in Olympia’s future. Take the survey by 9/30: olympiawa.gov/parksplan28

A huge THANK YOU to the sponsors who helped make our Kids Canopy Climb event possible! We’re grateful for the support of @WesSpur_Tree, @BartlettMan1, and Olympia @REISouthSound. Their generosity helped create a memorable experience for kids to get outside and climb high!
