chatGPT is my favorite teacher because:
- it makes dense language easy to read
- it's super patient and is eager to answer all my questions
- it explains the concepts perfectly
- it uses simple examples to make sure I understand the concept
- when I read the original again, I now understand it
What more do you need to learn complex subjects? This is the perfect teacher and it feels like MAGIC
Wait.. we are running a JS app in the browser, but not as deterministic code, but as a neural net?
That's insane!
And then we actually train the weights ans the app adapts.
My brain is exploding now :)
Replying to @_chenglou
What happens in we unfreeze some of these weights and actually train them? Well you can apply existing neural net techniques to it, losses and backprops and all, and now the UI becomes a bit more “learned”
Here’s a photo gallery where on the left I edit the rectangles and the right side gives me a new view where the photos learn to align themselves, training in real time as you drag (because the param count is so tiny).
This demo done fully in JavaScript, with JS looping through them numbers and backpropping. Stupid but fun! I’ve exposed the loss param slider you can play around with
Thanks for sharing the artifact to explain all the skills

If you're like me and need to understand the skills and plugins you feed your agent, then you'll appreciate this deep dive of @poteto's pstack I had Opus 5.5 create.
I was hesitant at first, but I found that it's a masterclass in agentic engineering.

Herdr + Mosh to connect to my home mac mini is amazing when working on the train, where the connection keeps dropping and coming back
Also, you can just close your laptop and at any point reopen and you can keep working. As soon as your internet connection is back, it resumes.
Plus, since the agents are working on the mac mini, they just keep going when my laptop is closed.
This is the perfect travel setup 🔥
Replies like this make me very reluctant to go all-in on tools that are tied to one AI company.
Even though Grok Bot misunderstood the question and thought I was asking about Grok's underlying models etc, it made me think about this issue.
I don't want to end up talking to a black box over which I have no control.
And that's also the reason I like Firstmate by @kunchenguid so much: you choose which models you want to use for each role. Full transparency.
Launch day today! 🚀

The wholy grail of e-ink has been achieved: Framework 13 with a Modos e-Ink screen
Finally finished the build of this Modos E-Ink Screen Framework 13 Laptop. All the info on the Thingiverse page for 3D printing the chassis, OS, Bill of Materials, references, etc. thingiverse.com/thing:741380…
Thanks to @Modostech screen, @FrameworkPuter parts and @dhh free OS!
This would be great for Belgians 🇧🇪
While you spend an hour minimum daily in traffic jams near Antwerp, you arrive at work, with your work already done for you by all the grok bots you are steering 😂
Enable FSD + steer your grok bots = meteoric rise in Belgian GDP.
@Bart_DeWever maybe this is a way to close our deficit?
The wholy grail: laptop with e-ink display.
Mean you can work outside in the sun without any problem!

It just feels right.
Not having to write your AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md yourself.
This tool (backpass by @kunchenguid ) goes through all your chats with coding agents in a given project, and writes or updates your AGENTS.md
Is this the way to go?
I find when I start to use a new app from Github, the readme is usually much to dense to get a simple "how do I get started here?"
So I end up pointing my favorite coding agent of the day at the github repo and ask it to explain it simple, or ask a specific thing.
Funny thing is, most people now don't write their README themselves anymore. So most likely AI written and much to dense and difficult to read.
Now, I'm countering that on my end by asking an AI agent to distill the main points for what I need.
