Folks, today, Friday, 16 Dec 2022, I’m having a public Zoom meeting at 3:00 pm US Central time to share my 2022 season wide row corn plots results. Feel free to join in. Here is the link. Full disclosure: These are Advanced Tests, for learning. us02web.zoom.us/j/8718844564…

We had a nice little field event on 30 Sep 22 in Waterloo, IA. Reviewed 81 ears of corn in 30”, 60” single, and 90” twin rows. The performance of the 60” single row was a disaster: a loss of 28% vs. the 30” baseline. The 90" Twin Row was only 8% less than 30" baseline-a delight.

A few standing edge plants after 100+ MPH winds recently near Marshalltown, IA. A strong testament to the impact of extra sunlight on corn plants.
