Inshore Alert! Huge Slug White Seabass are chewing. Limits for everybody. Find the birds just south of Dana Pt. 50-60 pounders. G' luck.

Update: The Seabass are on the chew at SCI. Get some candy and hit the backside. Remember to turn in your heads and its a one fish limit!

Day 1 of the Intl. Masters Billfish Tournament in Isla Mujeres. I drew the Sea Mistress today. Hopefully we get a few shots. Weathers good.

A great year for Striped Marlin in Mag Bay. Hopefully an omen for So Cal Marlin fisherman next year. Third times a charm hopefully.
Something is seriously wrong with the Striped Marlin populations. Even Mag Bay was slow this year. #longlinersandsardinefisherman

36 of the best boats and fisherman on the West Coast and only one marlin was caught. And that fish was DQ'd cause they messed up the release
We finished the Masters tied for 1st w/ 36 other boats. Saw one Marlin in 2 days and no bites. Lots of life and bait, just NO marlin.

The boat Reel Time just called in a hookup. Not exactly sure where they are, stand by.
No fish caught by us or fleet yesterday but lots of bait and water looked good. Expect a spot of fish to be found again this weekend on 209.
Fished all spots yesterday. Started at the 279 then the 209. Looked good but kinda green 69 water. Finished at 277 and 152. Bad water there.

The boat that lost the jigfish is on the 209. 5 and 51. Theres a break with 70-68 degree water. They also just had a tailer up.
Boat just lost a jigfish. Talkin to another guy thats fishing a paddy with Dorado on it. Couldn't catch where they were.
Hopefully this big south swell moves some of that 70 degree water back in here. Not many warm pockets out there right now.
67.5 to 69.5, Bait, Blue Whales, Birds and Blue Water. Deadcalm. 279 into 4 off Dana looks great. 6 off Laguna looks great, flippin Makos.
