Valve needs to step in at this point we can't have this every Major cycle, no fault of the players as opportunities in OCE are very few, but this just looks like a desperation move.
If you can’t beat them, join them. Welcome @TjPG0D & @hatz_csgo 🇦🇺 We’re taking a different route this time as we set our sights on the Asian VRS. 🌏 Let’s see how far we can take it. For now, @MistRCSGO and @Cabbi_cs will be stepping out of the starting lineup for the coming month.

Confirmed: @TjPG0D & @hatz_csgo have joined Danish org Sashi, and thanks to @AnleleleCS's dual citizenship, the squad is now Asia VRS eligible. The two Aussies will line up for Sashi this week, with the team joining the likes of BCGame and WW in making a late (and controversial) region switch. Report: dfrag.gg/counterstrike/news/…

Seeing a lot of confusion and comments about our forfeit last night, so hopefully this clears up some of the comments. The region "Asia" is where we are forced to play, based on our nationalities. The region includes Australia as well as all the Asian countries. The qualifier for Beijing and others is online. They use only Asian Servers No Australian Servers are in the Server Pool. 80% of Australia live on the east coast (Sydney, Melbourne etc). The ping from these Eastern Cities to the closest Asia Server (Singapore) is about 110ms. It's 8hrs by plane. This is why historically we dont play the qualifiers, its very hard to beat Tyloo/Lynn Vision etc on fair conditions, impossible to beat them on 110ms. With VRS on the line, its crazy to accept. However there is 1 city in Australia where we can play on a reasonable ping (50ms). This is Perth. This is on the other side of Australia. We took flights of 4-6hrs to fly to Perth. Yes we fly 4-6hrs to play an Online Qual (Further than flying LA to Miami or flying London to Moscow) and still get 50ms when we arrive. We found a venue that has very good internet, both in speed/redundancy/routing. We were playing the qual from Perth on 50ms. Tyloo had 55ms - so this should of been nearly perfect (50 vs 55) and a great game for the fans to see. However the physical connection from Perth to Asia breaks. Flying 7 people, renting the venue and accommodating 7 people isn't free. It will cost us around 15k USD to play an online qual on 50ms. If we dont pay, we dont play and miss the events. All the other Asia teams can play from Home. This was our choice, we wanted to give it a go, as i said we usually decline all invites because of the cost/risk. This ended with us forfeiting the cost, the VRS and the chance to qualify. It is what it is, maybe we will try again next year!

Some remarks after 900 reviewed VACNet clips: - I got invited on my vac banned account (by someone else) and I can do verdicts and invite others. Your account standing does not matter. - The player is absolutely abysmal, it's way too small and there's insane amount of dead space. The full clips are around 5 minutes but each "task" is a 12 second segment of that big clip, the player control bar shows the full 5 minute duration but you can only watch the 12 seconds, clicking outside the "clip" goes back to the start. Impossible to seek/rewind. - I had to make a userscript that fixes the media player, adds youtube arrow jumps, comma and dot frame seeking, hold to 2x speed, make player fullscreen and verdicts table on the right side. This insanely increased my productivity. - The clip system is insanely effective, not having to open a full demo insanely speeds up the review, this would be 100x better than old overwatch if this would convict players - You will see the same segments and you will go insane, after 900 clips I recognize pretty much every single segment and "rarely" find a new clip. - If you won't see the same segment you will very likely see the same clip but just a different segment of it, e.g. you might suddenly see what happened before the segment you just saw. - Rage hackers are actually pretty rare, you will very much see 5k elo lobbies. - Clicking each of the 4 cheat options made me go crazy, I made presets for legit (all nothing, most common), WH and RAGE and then edit accordingly (e.g. uncertain) In a few days most definitely everyone will be invited, this is very much a deadlock invite system, cheat devs surely have access to this already.

100% win rate (8/8 hltv maps) as a trio! Extremely proud of both these boys (and @TjPG0D as well of course) - I don't think people can fully grasp just how difficult it is to develop as a player within the ANZ region with such limited opportunities and poor practice conditions.
