As riot police approached with pepper spray and batons, @OfficialMaestro took out his violin and began playing "Changes" by 2Pac. He was playing in honor of Elijah McClain. Take two minutes and watch this phenomenal story by #9News photojournalist @KnoxAustyn

As Aurora Police in riot gear sweep the protest from the municipal park, this dude fires up his electric violin and literally stopped the police. Cops 10 feet away. Started with Bruce Hornsby “The way it is” then into this masterpiece! #Auroraprotest #ElijahMclain

As police in riot gear were spraying protesters with pepper spray and using batons to push them back at the #ElijahMcClain protest in Aurora today, this man began playing the violin. One of the most surreal scenes I’ve ever seen. Music is powerful. #9News
