Same for me! @AppleSupport dropped the ball on this one. I have seen a million complaints online and not ONE person has a fix from @AppleSupport @Apple I’ve heard it has something to do with the touch pad. People are opening them and disconnecting the touch panel!! It’s CRAZY!

@AppleSupport you’re telling me a $349 HomePod 2gen with only 3 years, the touch pad stopped working and it starts playing randomly at night (documented online), there is no solution. No repair, no trade in. Even compared it to Alexa on the support call. Premium quality?
