Read Sharon Berg's great interview of @FinnianBurnett about their book "The Price of Cookies" (pub. @OffTopicPub)!
One of the central truths I wanted to explore in this work is the idea that we all just get through life in whatever way makes sense to us

ALT The cover of The Price of Cookies, by Finnian Burnett. It depicts a hand--drawn and carelessly colored-in cookie on a blue background. The cookies is missing one bite
ALT Headshot of Finnian Burnett, outside in front of what looks like a river with green trees on the other side. The background is deliberately blurred

There is one short story I wrote, in which I delved the surreal, trying to channel either Joe Koch's works or Avra Margarati. This flash fiction. I called White Box and it was released last year by @OffTopicPub in their Home chapbook.
It's now on sale: smashwords.com/profile/view/…

I was so anxious but I went to my local library and told them I had a new release and the person working there said, ”You want to have a book launch!?” So I’m having a book launch at the Princeton, BC library in May. So proud for squelching my anxiety and asking. #writinglife
