Super proud of our Ofsted report 🥰 Such a fab school to work at ☺️files.ofsted.gov.uk/v1/file/…
Our first secret artist of the term was one of our Year 5 teachers, Miss Hill. Lots of guesses from the kids but only 5 got it right 😆 This week we have photos of lots of beautifully decorated cakes 🎂 🤔 #artteacher #artinschool
We had a #squishmallow #isitcake party for my 8 year old today. How amazing are their cakes?! Pleased to say Mr8 didn’t guess correctly between mine and real squishmallow 🤣 (I put buttercream all round the decoy and only have him 10 seconds 👀)
We had a great trip to @Trop_Birdland yesterday. Can’t wait to show my Y1 class when we learn about birds next term! Which hat is the best?!
Me: what’s the new squishmallow called?
7yo: Rick Astley
Me: *pause to process* … um … why?
7yo: He’s this guy on a tv in the Ninja Turtles movie.
Me: Oh, right. So … Rick Astley then?
7yo: yep
Me: *dies*

Another lovely after-school drawing class this afternoon. Today the children explored ways to draw with charcoal @Beeston_Fields
Amazing Art plc today led by @mrs_darl - so many ideas to take back to school. Here are my practical efforts ... a string portrait and some charcoal practice! @FlyingHighTrust #artlead

Last day of term and my last day of being an ECT! Two years in and now I am a real grown-up teacher. I love these earrings gifted to me by one of my class - I am a big fan of massive earrings so these are so thoughtful! 😍 #ect #hungrycaterpillar
A few pics of our whole school art gallery. First year as art lead - I am so proud of this work! 🥰 #artlead #primaryart #artwithkids
