I was reading Luke 15 this morning and it made me think. We rush through life so quickly by looking forward to Friday, I tell you that every day is the day that the Lord has made. We should be glad and rejoice in all days. Even in the bad days God is with us.

I don’t need to be “woke” for the same reasons I don’t need to be a feminist. Scripture is the standard. Women are made in the image of God, and are far more valuable than the world thinks they are. I don’t need to import the world’s definition of worth—it’s useless.

Struggling as a minority/POC in America is no more a justification for racially segregated fellowship than struggling with finances/poverty is an excuse to steal from the church offering on Sunday.

It’s not enough to believe in inerrancy. It’s essential to believe the Scriptures are God-breathed & without error, but what good is it if God’s spoken with authority unless we can be certain about what he’s said? The perspicuity of Scripture is as important as inerrancy. #sbc18 – at DALLAS-FT. WORTH

So sad that it appears to be true that a landslide vote in Ireland will remove the 8th Amendment recognition that “the State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn.” Tragic beyond words.
