women don’t need to be “held accountable” for wearing outfits you don’t like to the gym and if you cannot resist staring at or harassing someone in leggings you shouldn’t be amongst the public, let alone a gym
What Dan seems to miss is that Shane wasn’t exactly “objectifying women” in his crude, not my cup of comedy tea, ill timed monologue, but highlighting how the women are objectifying 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴. It’s the “Look at me! but 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘦 look at me” ways of many women today. I think the ‘conversation’ that needs to be had is women, in many ways, embracing accountability for their choices.
…in 2010. So much shit was wildly different in college communities and social media and the internet. Stupid viewpoints can be learned from. They still can be learned from tbh. You just also have manosphere types who love to prey and profit off as well.
I think it’s disingenuous to think a social media like is endorsing one specific (stupid) bit of joke exposition in an SNL monologue filled with various different anecdotes and punchlines, especially considering it’s from a comedian who is decently adjacent to sports.

Bryan Cranston has written a tribute for his ‘Breaking Bad’ on-screen son RJ Mitte who tragically passed away due to suicide.
“We were texting each other just a few weeks ago - figuring out when we could meet for lunch. I don't know if that lunch would have changed his future... But I do know that I loved him.”

Johnny Sins discusses why popular “amateur” porn categories such as “Fake Taxi” are entirely staged, and how they distort young men’s expectations of real-life sex.
Tanmay:
“My favorite types of porn are the ones that pretend to be real. I’m a big fan of fake agent and fake taxi scenes—the taxi stuff and the fake agent stuff make it feel like something that could actually happen.”
Johnny:
“That’s another issue. A lot of young people watching porn start believing that getting laid is much easier than it really is. It warps their sense of how difficult it is to have sex in real life. They start thinking they can just hop into a taxi with an attractive driver and end up having sex. People constantly ask me, ‘Was that real? Did you actually pick that girl up?’ No—everything in porn is fake.
You meet the other person beforehand, exchange test results, fill out paperwork, and only then do you film the ‘pickup.’”

NBC News has gathered more info and a timeline on the Cornell 7 and Jane Doe, some of which is new.
* Jane Doe's car was broken into, and her wallet stolen earlier that day. She was supposed to be a “sober monitor” for her sorority party, but was late because of the burglary, so the sorority assigned someone else. Earlier reports had blamed her drinking for why she wasn't the monitor. She did do shots, as she was not on duty.
* she arrived at Chi Phi at 10:30 pm. A guy she was interested in proposed a threesome and she accepted. At this point she had taken ketamine, smoked marijuana and consumed more liquor.
* at 1:42 a.m., one of the two men from the initial sexual encounter messaged in the Chi Phi Snapchat group, that there was “free p---y” upstairs.
More men started to enter the room. Jane Doe described feeling “super isolated” and like she “didn’t matter as a person to these men." Doe said to one of the initial men, “I don’t know who any of these people are.”
* later, one man who lived in the room went into the room with another man and said “something like ‘Ok we’re shutting down whatever the f— this is,’” after which “the group of men all began to scatter..”
* then, two of the men ushered Doe upstairs to what she believed was the fraternity president’s office. She said the two men “were asking me to have sex so many times that I finally gave in.”
“To me, that felt like coercion,” she told police. “Also, I felt like due to my intoxication, they should have known how intoxicated I was based on how I was slurring my words.” This continued until 5:45 a.m.
* she woke up in the room of the guy she had originally come to see, and found him hovering over her, saying he wanted her to give him oral sex. She refused him and he moved away from her.
+=======
So much culpability to go around. So many guys knew and could have stopped it. This case is going to be a lot more wide ranging than we originally knew. Let's see how many of these rats, rat each other out to save themselves!

Maybe men shouldn’t throw parties where illegal drugs and alcohol are present if they don’t want to take accountability for the harm that can be caused.
Replying to @michellmybell1
By this logic men can never throw a party if they want to have sex oh you had a party with a keg and then had consensual sex with a person at the party. Well according to the twitter mouth breathers that makes you a rapist

Yet he still needs built up in order for pinning him to feel impactful. Interesting.
He is literally right, the movie is not pro far right nor conservative propaganda. And empathy should not be exclusive to liberals, yall not understanding this are speaking from your privilege.
The Daily Show's Michael Kosta asks actor Sebastian Stan about his new movie about religious parents finding secular Norway and Norwegian CPS intolerant, "Some people might characterize the themes of this movie as fairly conservative. What's your response to that? Are people overthinking it?"
Stan says, "No. I mean, I think that is a pretty fair assessment, but that should not necessarily cancel out the issues that this family is facing or that the feelings that they have and the desire that they have to raise the kids in the best way they can. I think there's probably always, right, on either side there needs to be an opening of the door, you know, for a sort of more of a back and forth to happen. But I mean—this is one thing. Like, when did conservative become so wrong?"
