@ObjectiveTester just yet again demonstrated and reassured us that there's no such thing as "our system is too complex and too complicated for automation". There are ways to build your automation more effective and more efficient but you need to be smart about it. #SIGiST2023

Had a great day at my first @testing_atelier event in Leeds :) I really enjoyed the talk by @ObjectiveTester as well as picking his brain on the role of a Test Architect. And I FINALLY got to meet the infamous @Beth_AskHer after several online interactions 🙂 #TestAtelier

If all you care about is Chromium-based browsers, I believe you're doing your users a disservice. Using a tool that uses an underlying proprietary protocol instead of a standardized one facilitates this. Plus, it's bad for the open web.

I love this pattern to write JSON Assertions, so I decided to finally write about it, as I haven't seen it documented or used anywhere yet. Disclaimer: This is some intense technical stuff. I hope you find it as useful as I do on a daily basis. testpappy.wordpress.com/2022…

First, ask "is this going to help?" Second, ask "is this really going to help other people?" Third, ask "do people need to hear this?" If the answer is "no" to any of these, delete the tweet, remove the comment on Slack, don't send that email, don't say that thing, & move on.

Brilliant meeting tip: Don’t make 30 minute / 60 minute meetings. Make 25 minute and 50 minute meetings to build in a break time.
