So Good seems to sample If You Were Here Tonight by Alexander O’Neal O’Neal was in a funk/R&B band with Prince and later found individual success in the 80’s. Kendrick continues to dive into his roots as a true old school R&B head 🔥

Kendrick Lamar joins Eminem as the only rappers with 2 billion stream songs released in separate decades Drake is on pace to join them in only ~1800 days (5 years) from now with Jimmy Cooks. Just ~1300 days (3.5 yrs) away if including features as he is on Future’s Life is Good

Kendrick’s LOVE. is also on pace to reach 2 billion streams by the end of this year while luther is on pace to reach 2 billion streams by the end of next year. He will become the only rapper to have multiple 2 billion stream songs released in separate decades.

Bad Bunny has now lost 25+ million monthly listeners since peaking after the Super Bowl. Will the SlowVO crew now refer to him as Bot Bunny? Or will they be like sane people and realize monthly listeners fluctuate when exposed to huge audiences outside of an artist’s core base?

Why did TDE artists simultaneously lose 30 million monthly Spotify listeners? Did someone go missing? How do you lose 30 million listeners while on “the biggest stadium tour of all time” 😂

Now that you mention it, Iceman + Maid Of Honour + Habibti yesterday (we are in week 8): 12.9M streams (43 songs) GNX in week 8: 14M streams per day average (12 songs) Again, before the Super Bowl or Grammys. GNX likely outpaces all 3 combined post-week 7. Replay value 😳

Your comparison is not definitive because Drake dropped 2 other albums along with ICEMAN. Drake put up these numbers with ICEMAN even though he had other albums by him to take away attention.

Iceman is already dipping below 10M daily streams less than 2 months in GNX sustained 11M+ daily streams for at least 2 months & has outstreamed Iceman outside of week 1 launch hype All pre-Super Bowl, pre-Grammys, 0 national media appearances btw GNX replay value is insane 😳

Fun fact: For All The Dogs actually outstreamed Iceman by about 50M but had about 60k LESS streaming units in the first week. Even after accounting for YouTube stream removal, Billboard “sales” this year are boosted around 30% based on their new formula for streaming units 😳

Today I learned Song streams don’t matter, only total album streams (GNX week 4 outstreamed Iceman’s btw) An album having less songs is no reason for less streams (Iceman had less streams than FATD btw) Both Kendrick & Drake have industry + radio support and not blackballed😳

I also learned that only the number of “sales” matters even if the exact amount of streams today equals significantly more Billboard calculated “sales” than last year even after accounting for YouTube 😳
