Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been covering more indie games in the past few months. This is because I am part of a platform called Jestr.
This is a marketplace where you get paid for posting short form content about indie games. You get paid anywhere from $5-$13 per 1K views. It’s really cool because they total all your views across tiktok, Instagram, and youtube on a single submission.
Jestr has quickly become a steady source of income and has allowed me to remain full time for the past year. Here’s what I’ve made just this month with a few submissions.

Today we did more YouTube Stream Testing! I did a dual output stream for 2 hours and a vertical only stream for 2 hours and here are the results!

If you're a creator who has been pushing off making that video, simply because it's just too overwhelming, here is my advice:
You do NOT need to make the entire video today. Do something small. Break it up into smaller tasks.
It may seem daunting to only think about what the finished product is going to look like, and all the script-writing, recording, editing, thumbnail making, etc. that goes into a completed upload.
Do something, literally ANYTHING, to move the project forward. I don't give a shit what it is. Write the script, record some audio, edit a little bit, record some gameplay, just do something because the longer you wait, the further out that passion project drifts.
There are some days when I have the energy to record for 15 minutes and there are some where I can knock out 4 hours.
The more small steps you add to the process, the easier it's going to get.

It’s actually kind of crazy how many different ways there are to make this content shit work now.
There used to be a time where it felt like you had to follow whatever the current trend was or be on whatever platform was hot.
Now I know people making a full-time living just streaming.
People killing it on X.
People posting almost entirely to Facebook and making life-changing money.
People using Instagram to scale their business.
People making money they’ve never seen before through TikTok Shop.
People still doing UGC deals that completely changed their life.
I talked to a YouTube creator today who is absolutely crushing Shorts and livestreaming directly into the Shorts feed.
There’s just so much free game everywhere now.
You’re not confined to one platform, one format or one path anymore.
You can genuinely look around, figure out what fits you, and build your own lane.
Pretty fucking cool time to be a creator.

Thank you for 50 million views on YouTube! It’s crazy what you can accomplish when you stay consistent and are surrounded by motivated individuals.
My approach to multi steaming is to give the viewer the option to watch on their preferred platform. You mostly hear me talk about youtube and TikTok but I’m also very active on Twitch!
As a full time content creator, having multiple sources of revenue is so important. So I appreciate the folks that support me over there as well!
