The black rifle coffee alpha male takes a sip from his thermos and looks out from the bunker to the battlefield, it’s hell out there. “Perfect” He thinks
He adjusts the sights on his custom-built 16-inch 6mm ARC AR-15 with a Proof Research carbon-fiber barrel, JP Enterprises silent captured spring system, and a Geissele Super Dynamic Enhanced two-stage trigger. He picked it because the trigger felt smooth against his $350 carbon fiber combat gloves, and the alloy magazines were 20 grams lighter against his $2200 Kevlar vest.
He mindlessly feels at his tactical pouch, he has a 10 year supply of testosterone cypionate in it, just in case the pharmacies get hit. He smirks, “Daddy needs his combat fuel.” He’s been on TRT for 7 years, his testes have cobwebs on them.
He steps out of the bunker, he’s spent years training for this moment, doing weighted carries, getting “don’t tread on me” tattoos, bow hunting, having a beard.
“It’s fuckin showtime.” He announces.
Just then he feels something lightly tap his leg. He glances down. It’s a 17 dollar drone off temu. It has a decal on it.
“Is that… hentai?”
His legs are blown smooth off.
12 miles away in a disgusting room illuminated only by the degenerate glow of purple LED strip lighting, a 17 year old leans back in his cum stained gamer chair. He’s grown so frail and sickly his friends and family keep mistaking him for Asmongold.
He grabs another 30mg vyvanse and washes it down with a cold chicken nugget.
“GG faggot”
He’s killed 500 men.

They are violent because they know you won’t be.
And you will stand aside as your nation burns.

War is real estate deals by other means.
"When you elect a bureaucrat to the presidency, you end up with someone who likes complicating your life with bureaucratic rules. When you elect a real estate dealmaker, you end up with someone who likes to do real-estate deals. Alas, a trade-off. But beats wars." - @nntaleb

something I’ve come to realize over my decades outdoors hunting, hiking, mountaineering, and military service is that gore-tex ruined much of the beauty and connection to nature we once had in outdoor clothing.
you’re literally out in nature, yet wrapped in plastic.

When we make things, especially useful or beautiful things, we are sub-creators.

Someone (a priest?) just posted this absolute mic-dropping reply on one of my Substack notes in relation to our desire to make things. "We participate in an ancient liturgy of purpose..."
"The urge to create with our hands is perhaps the purest expression of our divine spark. In shaping something tangible, we do not merely craft an object; we participate in an ancient liturgy of purpose—one that grounds our restless souls and restores the sacred connection between the spirit, the mind, and the material world."

You can get the functional equivalent of anything I make from a Chinese sweatshop for pennies on the dollar. What is an AI robot going to do, except be even cheaper?
Ironically, luxury/craft goods are among those activities least threatened by AI.

Mothers: Stop Carrying the Domestic Load Alone
Ladies, you need to stop carrying the entire domestic load alone.
That is one of the things you have children for.
Children can be taught to contribute to the household from a surprisingly young age. As they grow, their responsibilities should grow with them. If you teach them properly, much of the routine domestic work can gradually be transferred to them, leaving you primarily responsible for supervision, organization, and the work that genuinely requires an adult.
The exact age will depend on the child, but a rough guide looks something like this:
Ages 2–3
Put toys away
Put dirty clothes in the hamper
Carry unbreakable dishes to the table
Wipe small spills
Help put groceries away
Match socks
Ages 4–5
Make their bed
Set and clear the table
Feed pets
Water plants
Help sort laundry
Dust low surfaces
Help prepare simple foods
Put their own clothes away
Ages 6–8
Sweep floors
Vacuum simple areas
Fold laundry
Empty small trash cans
Load and unload parts of the dishwasher
Prepare simple breakfasts and snacks
Help wash dishes
Keep their bedroom reasonably clean
Help with basic yard work
Ages 9–11
Do complete loads of laundry
Load and unload the dishwasher
Clean bathrooms
Vacuum and mop
Take out the trash
Prepare simple meals
Change bed linens
Help care for younger siblings
Perform more substantial yard work
Help with grocery lists and putting food away
Ages 12–14
Cook complete basic meals
Handle their own laundry from beginning to end
Clean the kitchen
Clean bathrooms thoroughly
Mop and vacuum the house
Do routine lawn and garden work
Babysit younger siblings for reasonable periods
Help plan meals
Help with household organization and errands
Ages 15–17
Prepare family meals
Handle most routine household cleaning
Do grocery shopping when practical
Manage their own clothing and belongings completely
Perform substantial yard and maintenance work
Care for younger siblings independently for appropriate periods
Help manage household schedules and recurring tasks
Learn basic repairs and maintenance
Take responsibility for entire areas of the household
By the time your children are teenagers, they should not merely be “helping Mom.” They should be competent members of the household who know how to see what needs doing and do it.
The goal is not merely to reduce your workload.
You are training future adults to run homes of their own.

Two consenting adults should not have to have the governments permission to engage in a food transaction
@JoelSalatin
They're still cranking out the Tamale Act propaganda.
Read the comment from the alleged cottage baker below then come back up here.
First and foremost the revenue cap.
New cap is $150k GROSS for the entire operation. In a business with 3-10% margins that's a flat out killer.
Old cap wasn't "$10k." It was $10k NET PER ITEM with no item limits - essentially no cap at all.
They discussed this in committee. The intention is to funnel anyone determined to make a living into the fully captured food truck/restaurant space. Meanwhile uninformed restaurant owners are railing against the law as additional competition instead of the obvious protectionism it actually is.
Now the hot foods themselves. Its not "5 items" we traded the revenue for - it's 5 variations on one item. 5 flavors of tamale, for example.
They don't want anyone to be able to interpret the new law as being able to provide complete meals to people.
Cap, registration, regulation. Certainly not an improvement over the fairly decent cottage food laws Colorado already had.
ANYONE coming between consenting adults feeding each other is an actual Domestic Terrorist.
@GovofCO is a Domestic Terrorist. (And a gay fat POS)

Love is strange.
On the one hand, when you look at your children, you think "how could I possibly divide my love across even MORE children?"
Then a new baby comes along and what you thought was already exhausted, suddenly EXPLODES into a whole new dimension.
You find out that love magically multiplies, it never divides.
Somehow your heart makes room for MORE love, when you allow it to.
You discover the infinite nature of love and you start to understand why the Bible says "God is love". Perfect love has no limits, no boundaries.
You used to think that being in heaven for eternity would get boring at some point, but you've started to understand that if God is love and love is infinite - love being the greatest human experience possible - then there's ZERO chance that eternity with God would ever get boring.
On the other hand, some people have lost children young. Through miscarriages, health issues, accidents, or even crime.
The love in your heart for that child turns into an unimaginable VOID that can never be satisfied by anything else.
The same love that is infinite on one side does not fill the gaping hole that is left through tragedy.
Even having more children after such an event doesn't replace or fix what was lost.
Infinity goes in both directions. The paradox of love fleshes this out in our hearts and minds.
I've come to the conclusion that hell isn't just merely the loss of heaven, it's the absence of love—of God, the source of love itself.
Losing a child can feel like hell on earth.
The absence of love is what kills the soul. Having no way to express it or experience it or share it.
The presence of love is the whole meaning of life. Both the experience AND the expression of it.
This is why God created mankind.
This is what it means when King Solomon said "He [God] has put eternity into man's heart".
We are made in the image of God.
God is love.
Love is infinite and eternal.
LOVE, never ends.

I need to make myself very plain here; a society that allows murderers, kidnappers, and rapists to live, and executed the unborn, the elderly, the sick, and increasingly the poor, is in no position to make moral judgements about the Inquisition. It has no morals.
