Tate Sandell was fired up after the #Sooners took down No. 1 Texas. Doesn’t get any better than kicking a game winner as time expires in the Red River Rivalry.

#Sooners QB John Mateer to Offensive Coordinator Ben Arbuckle after beating No. 1 Texas: “Thank you for believing… We Believe”

“They said we couldn't do it. Check the scoreboard.” - #Sooners WR Isaiah Sategna who had two massive catches to set up Sandell’s game winner.

Brent Venables wore the Golden Hat for the #Sooners first team photo after the 27-24 win over No. 1 Texas. Venables, Bishop Thomas, LeBron Bauer and David Stone made sure there was also a photo after with Tate Sandell wearing the Golden Hat after the Lou Groza Award Winner nailed a 47 yarder as time expired.

#Sooners five-star CB commit Gabe Osborne Jr. had offers to just about every major program in the country, but the #OKPreps standout chose to stay home to play for Brent Venables and Oklahoma. “It means a lot because at the same time I always been an OU fan since I was a baby like I always had OU all around me. Now I finally get to that point where I actually get to see myself and actually be there myself like, here in a couple of months, it's going to feel great” - Gabe Osborne Jr. @Osbornegabe5 @MHSBroncoSports @1BroncoFootball @OUNightly

“Our coaches do a really good job of starting at the beginning of the year and making sure that our players know, you know, going back to when I play in this program, I never heard Gary Rose one time say anything about going undefeated. And so we never have either. You know, it's happened. It's a byproduct of really, really good players and guys that believe in what we do and guys that are coachable.” - @Coach_Mike_D after @CAHS_FOOTBALL20 record breaking 59th consecutive win. The Titans also hold the nations longest active win streak. @OUNightly #OKPreps

“We wanted to go earn it. And you guys earned it. So proud of you guys, man. Proud of all the coaches. Proud of everybody involved here. It doesn’t happen without everybody” - @Coach_Mike_D after @CAHS_FOOTBALL20 record breaking 59th consecutive win last night vs Noble. @OUNightly #OKPreps

Very nice touchdown and great awareness to keep a foot in bounds by Five Star #Sooners commit Gabriel Osborne Jr. @Osbornegabe5 to put Mustang up 24-7 in the 3rd. #OKPreps @OUNightly

Had a great time talking Oklahoma at SEC Media Days with Michael Bratton @MichaelWBratton host of @thatSECpodcast who is picking the #Sooners to play for the SEC Championship in Atlanta. “I think Oklahoma is going to go to the SEC Championship for the first time. I think the defense is going to be the best not only in the SEC, but probably the nation” “It's a gantlet, no doubt, but it always is in the SEC. That's the same thing, that's what everyone was saying last year. There's no way Oklahoma is going to survive this schedule. Brent Venables was going to get fired. And then they rattle off all these incredible wins on the road to make the College Football Playoff. So I'm not doubting them.” @OUNightly #SECMD26

I caught up with Brooks Austin @BrooksAustinBA of The Film Guy Network to talk all things #Sooners at SEC Media Days in Tampa. “We say on our channel that if you just give him an offensive pulse, there going to be a 9, 10, 11 win football team. And last year they had a pulse. They went on to a playoff right. This year I think they take a little bit of a further step offensively. Things around Mateer ought to be a little bit better.” “I can't tell you how many coaches I talked to after they get done playing Oklahoma, that defense and they're like, dude, he threw something at me that they haven't done all year. And that's so abnormal for defensive football coaches.” @OUNightly #SECMD26
